Zengoro Eiraku (1823-1896) opened Ki- kutani Kiln in Kyoto. His style has wide breadth including kinrande gold brocade style, He used gold leaf, compared to Hozen who used gold paint. He died on May 7th, at 74 years of age.

Kinrande 金襴手 "gold brocade" style: Gold leaf decoration is applied on coral-red ground enamel surface. First made in China during Ming; recreated in Japan.
