Burnshield Hydrogel - 125ml

Burnshield Hydrogel is a sterile trauma hydrogel which can be used for minor burns and scalds. With its high water content, this hydrogel cools and soothes by absorbing and dissipating heat which minimises skin damage. It also cools the skin and can help with pain relief and shock reduction. The Burnshield Hydrogel is clear, which makes it easy to assess the wound. It is non-stick and will not adhere to the wound.

The hydrogel is also a natural anti-bacterial which reduces infection. It is non-toxic and non-irritant, and safe to use on children. This hydrogel is suitable for the treatment of Sun Burn, Superficial / Partial Thickness burns, rehydration of dressings and difficult to-get-to areas. It also helps prevent infection and the high water content in the gel promotes rapid cooling resulting in minimising skin damage.

How To Use

• Spray the required amount of hydrogel from the bottle
• Apply liberally to the burn area
• Cover with plaster or non-adherent bandage
