Antique Gold Gilt Gesso Baroque Frame Glass Front 18x20 Holds 8x10 art or photo. This beautiful antique gold gilt frame features the Victorian Baroque style, perfect for showcasing paintings, fine art prints or photos. This gilded gesso frame I believe dates to the late 19th or early 20th century. It features ornate acorn and leaf scroll detailing throughout. In very nice antique condition. The gold gilt is still shiny with light patina. Very light wear as is normal for an antique. The frame has no major damage. Structurally sound with a couple seam separation and corner wear but just a bit, nothing major. No missing gesso. I have 2 of these with matching detailing. The other is 17 1/2" x 20" in size. Measures 18 1/2" W x 20 1/2" T x 1 3/4" D. Glass front with no cracks or major scratches 8" x 10". The back shows it age. Wire for hanging. No maker's mark. Weight 5 lbs. 7 oz.
